Girls Can Grill Too

Girls Can Grill Too is a six week video series devoted to building confidence in women grilling beef (guys are welcome too of course). Whether you have never grilled before or you have fired up the barbecue a time or two, I know you will find great tips, tricks and resources to take your grilling skills to the next level. We will be trying our hand at six different beef cuts to build our confidence and repertoire.

This series is sponsored by the Oregon Beef Council, which is funded by Oregon Beef Farmers and Ranchers.*

Confidently Cooking Beef

Ultimately, we just want to feel confident when grilling so we can be engaged with our family and friends during the process. Girl, you can, and you will! Beef is a complete protein, providing all nine essential amino acids. It is what I place on my table with confidence as I feed my growing babies. I also know that we pay for the quality product that it is, it is not cheap, and it would be an utter disappointment if you ended up not liking how it tasted.

A Love for the Outdoors

Oftentimes I see guys gravitate toward the grill and the girls are stuck inside preparing side dishes or wrangling kids. I don’t know about you, but I absolutely love being outdoors. When I am outside I feel most at peace. I experience a lot of FOMO when I am watching the grilling take place outside while I am stuck in the kitchen. I bet you can relate.

What to Expect

Girls Can Grill Too will have a couple of different components and I want you to know about all of them. First, each week I will share what cut I will be grilling later that week. I would love if you could grab that cut and grill with me. If not, I hope you will save the video to come back to when you are ready. Each Thursday you will find a video of me grilling that cut. I will walk you through the entire process from unwrapping it to plating.

Secondly, I will be hosting many different professionals in the beef community on Instagram Live. Guests will be sharing their knowledge on a variety of different aspects related to beef. It will be a great space for you to bring your questions! You never know, showing up may lead to you getting some happy mail too.

Lastly, you will find blog posts that touch on a variety of topics such as lean cuts, different production methods, how to elevate your steak, and more. If you haven’t joined my Cattle-ist Community, subscribe here so that you won’t miss a single post.

Girls Can and We Will

I want to thank you for being here. Your presence and participation is a total gift to me. I am excited to connect with you over the next six weeks. Whether you are in Urban or Rural America, you belong here. You can tailgate, head out to your balcony or patio, or join a friend that has a grill. Look out guys, girls can grill too.
